Our Story

J.R. Premier Wines distributes artisan "boutique" wines throughout Southern Idaho. We have been working with small production wineries through out California Washington Oregon and Spain since 2005.Our focus has been family owned and opertated wineries who's focus is premium wines at a good value. We have had the good fortune of working with some of the best winemakers and growers representing some the best wines their regions have to offer.

 

On the other side of the business we sell to some of the industries best restaurants and retailers throughout Southern Idaho. With our background in the restaurant industry we've set out to represent wines that are "sellers", wines that the retailers and restaurants could take great pride in serving and representing.

Red Mountain AVA Wine Dinner

 

I have have been trying to put this together for 2 years now and we finally confirmed.

 

Lorne Jacobson from Kelnan Wine Management will be here to talk about the vineyards and the wines from Red Mountain and the history of Red Mountain AVA. Lorne was instrumental in getting the Red Mountain awarded an AVA and has an incredible vast knowledge of the history and the region. Red Mountain

 

Red Mountain is home to some of the most prestigous vineyards and most awarded wines in all of Washington state. Included in Red Mountains accolades is home to Quilceda Creek's Cabernet. Quilceda's Cabernet is the only wine in the world to receive 100 point ratings from Robert Parker on three different vintages.

 

Chef Jon Mortimer's knowledge and  incredible knack for impecable food pairings along with Lorne should produce one of the most amazing wine dinners we've seen in Idaho.
